In class we discussed the powerful social phenomenon of MySpace. It has a lot of danger as well as potential. There is potential especially for ministry to youth and young adults. What are some of the positives?
in practical terms, some of the biggest benefits have to be organizational. if most, or all, of the group you minister to uses a single social networking site such as myspace, you can contact them at once in an arena they pay attention to.
of course, don\’t leave out the coolness factor!
people today use the internet so much it is easier for a person to type a short message than to send a letter in the mail in our fast pace environment. Cheaper than mailing and a person can receive a message quicker than the mail.
